National Rail services from Ealing Broadway station were suspended after a man died after being hit by a train at Ealing Broadway station.

According to British Transport Police, officers were called to the station at around 11.23am on Tuesday (Nov 24) following reports a person was hit by a train.

A man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service assisted with police and could be seen in large numbers gathering outside.

According to an employee at the station, all National Rail Services will be shut until 1pm at the earliest.

Officers will now work to identify the man and inform his family.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

The line has reopened with delays of up to 60 minutes as services return to normal.
