A man has been charged with murder after a 28-year-old man was stabbed to death on the Ivybridge Estate in Isleworth.

Azeem Issa, 28, of Haweswater House, Isleworth, who was arrested following the incident on Summerwood Road on Sunday (April 10), was charged with murder on Tuesday (April 12).

He is due to appear in custody at Croydon Magistrates Court on Wednesday (April 13).

Police have named the victim as Sahil Roy from Isleworth.

Tributes have been paid to the victim described as a 'friendly giant.

A post mortem examination gave the cause of death as a stab wound to the throat.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating while Hounslow police have requested the council for bin collections to be temporarily suspended at the estate.

People living on the estate have called for action over knives and drugs crime , following the shocking stabbing.
