A man has been charged over historic sex abuse allegations in Hounslow.

Michael O'Leary, 47, of no fixed address, was arrested on Thursday (November 9) in Feltham.

He was later charged with four counts of rape and one count of indecent assault.

The charges date to alleged offences dating from the period between 1988 and 1992, carried out in the Hounslow area.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Thursday where he was released on bail.

Mr O'Leary's bail conditions include a direction for him to reside at an address in Feltham, to report to Hounslow police station five days a week, and not to enter or go to the city of Hull.

Magistrates sent the case to Isleworth Crown Court where Mr O'Leary is due to enter a plea on December 7.
