A man has been charged with actual bodily harm after police were called to deal with an incident involving two motorists in Shepherd's Bush on Thursday evening.

Michael Adesanya, 30 and from Tradescant Road in Vauxhall, was charged on Friday (March 31) with actual bodily harm, and will appear before magistrates in Hammersmith on April 27.

One man was taken to hospital following the incident on Caxton Road at around 6pm, with an injury described as not life threatening.

The incident caused major traffic congestion, with police closing lanes to traffic and setting up a crime scene which remained in place until around 10pm.

That caused confusion as it was nearby a camera crew which had been filming a forensics scene on Shepherd’s Bush Green earlier that day.

People on social media suggested the filming was for a BBC drama called Hard Sun – a pre-apocalyptic crime drama set in modern day London.

The series is by Neil Cross, the creator of the Idris Elba crime drama Luther, and will be filmed across the capital.

It stars Jim Sturgess and Agyness Deyn and is expected to air later this year.
