A man from Brent threatened to bomb the home of an MP who voted in favour of air strikes in Syria.

Craig Wallace, of Teignmouth Road, Willesden Green , wrote on Facebook that he would smash Charlotte Leslie MP's windows and "drop a bomb on her house".

The 23-year-old, also known as Muhammad Mujahid Islam, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court yesterday, where he admitted sending malicious communications.

He was remanded in custody to appear for sentencing on Wednesday, December 30.

Wallace sent the abusive messages to the Conservative MP for Bristol North West on the day of the Syria votes last Thursday.

He was arrested at his home two days later by officers from Brent, and was charged on Sunday.
