A man was allegedly assaulted after standing up to a yob who threw chewing gum at him.

He was reportedly attacked by three men outside West Thames College, in London Road, Isleworth, on Monday (September 21).

Police said one of the assailants had thrown chewing gum at the man at around 1pm and, when the victim asked for an explanation, all three launched an attack.

The victim was left with a minor head injury and a grazed arm.
