A man has been arrested in connection with the car crash which killed young Southall woman Acacia Smith.
Police were called to reports of a drone being flown near to Wandsworth Prison in the early hours of August 9, and subsequently a collision occurred on Wandsworth Bridge Road at Ashcombe Street in Fulham .
The 25-year-old female died at the scene of the crash.
The driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition but has now been discharged from the hospital, the Metropolitan Police said.
Detectives at Wandsworth police station arrested a 25-year-old male on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and Prison Act offences, last Wednesday (August 17).
The same man was also arrested by detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to return to a police station in mid-October.
Police enquiries continue.
