Man to appear at Old Bailey charged with murder of woman in Acton

Michael Meanza, 47, will appear at the Old Bailey next month accused of the murder of a woman in Acton on Monday (July 27)

A man has been remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on August 10 charged with the murder of a woman in Acton.

Michael Meanza, 47, was arrested by police on suspicion of murder after officers were called to reports of an injured woman, aged in her 30s, at a property in Perryn Road on Monday (July 27).

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin has been informed but we await formal identification. A post-mortem is due to take place.
