Police are investigating the rape of a 19-year-old man at a nightclub in Kingston-upon-Thames.

The assault is said to have occurred in the early hours of Thursday April 3, in the male toilets at Pryzm nightclub in Clarence Street, Kingston. This week - five months on - detectives have released a CCTV image, captured at the club, of a man they wish to speak to.

The running man  is believed to be in his early to mid 20s and around 5ft 8 ins in height. He is described as of Mediterranean appearance, or possibly a light-skinned black man.

Detective Sergeant Janet Archibald said: "I am asking the man shown in the image to come forward and speak with me, since he may have information that would assist the investigation. I also wish to hear from anyone who knows this man's identity, or who has information relating to the incident at Pryzm nightclub on 3 April."

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences, Exploitation, and Child Abuse Command are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 020 8649 0422 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
