An office development in Hammersmith is hoping to attract some big-name businesses after it was completed last month.

The 170,000 sq ft building was built at 12 Hammersmith Grove, on a former car park site owned Transport for London (TfL) and next to Hammersmith station.

It was transformed by property regeneration specialist, U+I and funded by Aberdeen Asset Management, and is the second and final phase of its office led regeneration of the town, following the completion of neighbouring 10 Hammersmith Grove in 2014.

The location at the heart of the ‘TV Triangle’, a media cluster in West London spanning Hammersmith, Chiswick and White City , mean U+I hope it will become a commercial destination for the town.

The development also sees a public space between No 10 and 12, providing an natural extension to Lyric Square.

U+I CEO Matthew Weiner said: “12 Hammersmith Grove is a great illustration of how an imaginative development can transform a previously overlooked site.

"We were entrusted by TfL and the London Borough of Hammersmith to create an attractive and vibrant space for businesses and I am thrilled that 10 Hammersmith Grove is already thriving at the heart of the ‘TV Triangle’ in West London.

"12 Hammersmith Grove builds on that success and I look forward to announcing new tenants in the near future, adding even more creative and growing businesses to the area.”

UKTV and Fox International Channels are amongst the tenants lined up at No 10, with lettings achieved hitting £50 per sq ft - a new record for Hammersmith.
