Two lanes of the M4 were closed outside Uxbridge on Wednesday afternoon (November 9) after a collision involving two lorries and two cars.

The crash was first reported at around 3.44pm

Lane closures were in place between J5 A4 (Langley) and J4B M25.

The crash and closures caused delays heading towards London and using the M25.

BBC Travel categorised the incident as a "severe".

Traffic is queuing due to the accident, but the cars were moved to the hard shoulder by around 4.14pm.

All lanes were also reported reopened at around the same time.
