Two lanes are closed on the M4 London bound following a collision.

The incident has happened between junction 5 for the A4 (Langley) and junction 4b for the M25.

There are reports of congestion up to junction 6 A355 (Slough/ Windsor).

M25 collision

There is also disruption now on the M25.

Our traffic reporting system is saying the following:

One lane closed and very slow traffic due to accident, two cars involved on M25 clockwise between J15 M4 and J16 M40, congestion on M25 to J13 A30 (Staines).
Lane four (of four) is closed.

Lane one re-opened

Lane one has now re-opened but there is still slow traffic.

Disruption expected for another two hours

Disruption is expected until 3.00- 3.45pm today.

Emergency services at the scene

Here is a picture from the scene, as you can see emergency services are in attendance and there is quite a backlog of traffic.

20 minutes delays

There are currently delays of 20 minutes against expected traffic.

One lane closed

Lane one (of four) is currently closed, lane two was originally closed but re-opened around 1.15pm.
