The M4 was shut westbound on Sunday morning (October 15) due to a car fire.
Highways England reported the blaze at around 8am.
Firefighters from London Fire Brigade are at the scene between junction 2 and junction 3.

Incident between A4 and A312
Here’s the latest from our traffic and travel service:
“M4 westbound blocked, stationary traffic due to vehicle fire and all traffic being temporarily held between J2 A4 (Brentford) and J3 A312 (Hayes).
“Smoke from the fire is billowing across the road.
“Many emergency vehicles are at the scene.
“Some people have left their vehicles in the queue of stationary traffic.
“Affecting traffic between west London and the M25.”
