A man has been injured after a lorry and a car were involved in a crash on the M4 in Brentford.
Police said they were called to reports of a road traffic collision near the Glaxo building at around 12.45pm on Saturday (August 12).
One man suffered an arm injury, the Metropolitan Police said.
Congestion was reported on the M4 following the accident between J2 and J3 on the Chiswick Flyover near Windmill Road.
One of two lanes were blocked, leading to tailbacks in and around the area.
This had a knock-on effect on traffic on the A4 Great West Road which runs parallel with the motorway between J1 and J2.
Recovery was sent to the scene to move the vehicle.
All lanes reopened just before 3.30pm.
There were also reports of congestion to Kew Green towards the South Circular due to the accident on the M4.
Traffic was reported to be slow in the area and expected to last until 4pm.
