A number of planned new and ongoing roadworks in and around the M25 area in west London are due to take place this week.

Highways England will be carrying out work on motorways near Chiswick and Heathrow .

The organisation said its improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible, but says it is subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

M4 junction 1 Chiswick, Greater London to junction 3 Hounslow, Middlesex: Drainage

Work to improve journeys by carrying out drainage. The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Monday (July 10) for five nights. Work on Friday (July 14) will start at 11pm.

A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A4 and A312.

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, from Wednesday (July 12) for three nights. Work on Friday will start at 11pm.

Again, a clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A312 and A4.

M4 junction 4 Heathrow (T2,3) and Uxbridge, Middlesex: inspections

Work to improve journeys by carrying out inspection surveys. The westbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5am, on Saturday July (15). A clearly signed diversion for the exit slip road will be in place via junction 5 and return.

Diversions for the entry slip road will be in place via the M4 eastbound to junction 3 and return.

M25 junction 14 Heathrow (T4, 5, Cargo), Middlesex: inspection

Work to improve journeys by carrying out inspection survey. The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Sunday, July 16. Diversions will be in place via the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 13 and return.

M25 Heathrow Terminal 5, Middlesex: inspection

Work to improve journeys by carrying out inspection survey. The clockwise entry slip road will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Sunday, July 16.

Again, diversions will be in place via the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 13 and return.

M25 junction 15 (M4), Greater London: inspection

Work to improve journeys by carrying out inspection survey will start this week.

The clockwise link roads to the M4 will be closed overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, on Sunday 16 July.

There will be diversions in place via the M25 junction 16, M40 eastbound to junction 1 and return.

M25 junction 15 (M4), Greater London: inspection

Work to improve journeys by carrying out inspection survey.

The clockwise and anti-clockwise link roads to the M4 westbound will be closed overnight, between 11pm and 5am, on Friday July (14).

Diversions will be clearly signed via the M4 eastbound to junction 4 and return.
