If you’re looking for a lady to love in your life, you could do a lot worse than heading down to Goldhawk Road Tube Station.

A new study by dating agency Match.com claimed the underground station, in Shepherd’s Bush, has the highest ratio of single female commuters to males in the city.

According to the figures, when taking the ratio of single women commuters compared to male travellers into account, west London tube stations make up eight of the top ten in the city.

But the news is not so if you’re looking for a single man, with no west London station making it in the top 10.

According to the Match.com statistics, there are nearly four single women for every single man using Goldhawk Road.

Other stations from the area to make the top 10 include Turnham Green, North Acton, White City , Parsons Green and Stamford Brook.

Match.com relationship expert Kate Taylor said: “We’re always trying to find new ways to bring singles together, from our Geo-Location technology showing you the singles near you, to our popular events, and we’re hoping this data provides London singles with extra insight into dating in the capital.

“It just shows how getting off the tube even one stop earlier could make all the difference in your quest to finding a partner.”
