London police stations axe plan consultation now includes Hammersmith and Fulham date

Here's how you can have your say

A date has been set for the Hammersmith and Fulham borough public consultation on the proposed closure of police stations in west London and around the capital.

The public meeting will take place on Monday September 25 at Committee Room 1 of Hammersmith Town Hall.

Proposals put forward by Sadiq Khan could mean stations in Ealing, Kensington and Chelsea, Hillingdon and Hounslow close .

The London Mayor says he has no choice but to take drastic action in a bid to protect frontline policing, blaming the government’s failure to properly fund London’s police service.

Consultation sessions started on September 6 in Kensington and Chelsea, where the police station in Notting Hill is threatened , with the latest confirmed meeting taking place in Croydon on October 4.
