Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan has been spotted at the event.

He said: "This wonderful family event showcases the fantastic diversity of Asian arts and culture in the capital, and invites Londoners from all backgrounds to come together and get involved."

The London Mela medical command team has also been spotted enjoying the day.

The BBC Asian Network Stage also had a jam-packed line-up with Bhangra beats and cutting-edge new Asian music.
