Borough Station has reopened following the London Bridge attack on Saturday (June 3).

London Bridge station remains closed as investigations continue at the scene after the terror attack, which left seven dead and 48 injured .

Met Police confirmed reports were received at 10.08pm on Saturday (June 3) that a vehicle had hit pedestrians on the bridge and then continued to drive to Borough Market. A number of people were stabbed.

Rail and roads

Transport for London (TfL) said London Bridge station remain closed on Sunday (June 4) evening as investigations are carried out in the area.

But Borough Station has now reopened.

TfL said roads in the immediate area were also closed on Sunday as police cordons remained for the ongoing investigations.

Tickets are being accepted on local bus routes and other London Underground services.

On Southern Rail, there is no service between London Bridge and New Cross Gate, and between London Bridge and South Bermondsey.

South West Trains has advised travellers to check onward travel plans if they are coming in to Waterloo.

Airports

At Heathrow Airport, services are operating as normal and there are no reports of any disruption at Gatwick.

'Remain vigilant'

Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said: "Our thoughts are with all those involved and those responding to both incidents.

"Those who are concerned about a loved one can contact the casualty bureau on 0800 0961 233.

"We are reviewing and planning to strengthen our policing stance across London over the forthcoming days, and there will be additional police and officers deployed across the capital.

"I would like to ask the public to remain vigilant and let us know if they see anything suspicious that causes them concern and dial 999 immediately."
