A boy, believed to be in his 20’s, was shot and killed on Wednesday (March 10) evening in what is believed to have been a drive-by shooting where he was an innocent bystander.

The boy has been named locally as Oliver, however police are yet to formally announce the name of the victim but next of kin have been informed.

The suspect is said to have fled the scene and no arrests have yet been made.

Shocking video footage emerged of what appears to be the victim’s mother, crying: “That’s my son!”.

Residents also relived the terrifying moment they heard the shots fired and talked about what happened.

One witness told getwestlondon: “Someone was crying a lot, it sounded like the mother who was crying with a lot of noise and she was really angry.”

Police say the gunman is thought to have fled in a vehicle. Officers are still at the scene this morning, near the junction with Conley Road, and have closed the road to carry out investigations.
