A man was stabbed during an attempted robbery in a street in Ladbroke Grove .

The 27-year-old was taken to hospital after being stabbed in his arm and back, however his injuries are not believed to be serious.

The victim had been standing next to his 125cc motorcycle when he was approached by two suspects at around 2.30am on Friday (July 28) morning in Westbourne Park Road, the police said.

The suspects tried to steal his bike and when he resisted, he was stabbed before the suspects made off from the scene.

The Metropolitan Police believe the motive behind the attack is robbery.

One of the suspects is described as a black, wearing a black full-face helmet and a fluorescent yellow jacket.
