More than a dozen people have been taken to hospital following a bus crash in Ladbroke Grove .
The incident happened near the junction with Canal Way on Thursday (November 17) shortly before midday.
One person who saw the accident spoke of “carnage” at the scene, while others said surrounding roads are still sealed off by emergency services.
A pedestrian suffered minor injuries, while the bus driver and 12 passengers were also treated for injuries.
Nobody is thought to be in a life-threatening or life-changing condition.
Matt Kyprianou is the club manager at Anytime Fitness.
He said he heard the sound of a car crash and turned around.
“I saw the bus go on the other side of the road," he said.
"It had clipped a white Audi and I saw it head straight to a woman.
"It went ‘bang’ straight into her.
“I thought ‘Oh My God’. The force it hit her, you would’ve thought she had no chance of surviving.
“The bus’s front window shattered and all the passengers flew forward.
"It all happened in slow motion and it was absolute carnage"
“She was pinned on the floor between a wall and the bus," he added.
“It was crazy. People were screaming, chaos had taken over.”
He said emergency services were soon at the scene, with firefighters lifting the bus to free the pedestrian.
He said he was over the moon, but stunned, to learn she had escaped with minor injuries.
He continued: “From the way the bus hit her and sent her back I thought she would’ve died on impact.
"You’d have to assume that. It was a double-decker bus. It’s great news and I’m just amazed.”
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “We were called at 11:52am. It was a bus in collision with a wall.
“There was one woman who was trapped under the bus. she was released and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
“We had two fire engines there and one fire rescue unit.”
Transport for London said services are affected by the incident.
The Met Police has confirmed that no arrests have been made.
