Restrictions have been put in place on Killburn High Road following a crash between a motorcyclist and a lorry.

The incident, which happened around 9.20am on Friday July 28, saw the A5 with the junction of Willesden Lane close.

The carriageway has since reopened with restrictions on the northbound side.

There are reports of congestion on Kilburn High Road to B451 Brondesbury Road and on A5 Kilburn High Road to B520 Iverson Road and Cavendish Road.

Traffic back to normal

A Transport for London spokesman said “[The] Road reopened in both directions at 10.20am and traffic conditions have returned back to normal.”

Met Police provide comment on accident

A spokesman from the Metropolitan Police said: “Reports of a lorry in collision with a motorcyclist.

“The cyclist received injuries to his shoulder.

“[They are] not life threatening or changing.”
