A vehicle flipped over following a collision involving two cars at a busy junction outside a tube station in Brent.

Fire engines, police cars, and ambulances were at the scene of the crash outside Kilburn station on Monday (May 22) morning.

A man and a woman were treated on the scene for minor injuries, London Ambulance Service (LAS) confirmed.

An eyewitness said the road adjacent to the station, Christchurch Avenue, had been taped off.

The collision was believed to have happened near the junction of Christchurch Avenue and Kilburn High Road

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "We were called at 9.15am to reports of a road traffic collision at Christchurch Avenue.

"Initial reports were of a collision involving two cars, with one that had ended up on it's side after it had flipped over.

"Emergency services attended. London Ambulance Service are now dealing."

London Fire Brigade (LFB) confirmed it was called to the scene shortly after.

An LFB spokesman said: "We were called at 9.26am to a road traffic collision, where two cars were in collision.

"Neither were trapped but I believe there were injuries.

"It was all over for us at 9.40am."

London Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and an incident response officer to the scene.

An LAS spokesman said: "We treated two patients - a man and a woman - at the scene for minor injuries."
