A community-based choir will raise money for Syrian children when it holds its annual Christmas concert .

Kensington Singers, based in Earl’s Court , will give profits from their December 15 annual concert, to Save the Children’s Syrian Refugees appeal.

They will be joined on the evening at St Dionis Church on Parsons Green , by Fulham Children’s Choir.

The concert, Home for Christmas, will feature festive favourites with a twist, including jazz versions of Carol of the Bells, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Stopford’s A Christmas Blessing and the war-time song I’ll Be Home for Christmas.

Kensington Singers is a 60-strong non-auditioned choir formed by 2015 BBC Unsung Hero Hannah Brine , and celebrates its fifth anniversary in January.

It rehearses on Monday evenings at St Philip’s Church in Earl’s Court Road.
