Frontline police officers in Kensington and Chelsea will take to the streets wearing body worn cameras at the beginning of next month.
The Met Police Twitter account for the Royal borough said officers would be wearing the camera from Tuesday May 2.
It is the latest borough in the capital to wear cameras, following successful trials in other parts of London, including Hillingdon, Ealing and Brent.
The cameras are embedded in the vest worn by police, and were first piloted by the Met in 2014.
Since then, the devices have been used to capture dramatic arrests.
One of the most recent showed police chase down and capture a man moments after an attempted rape.

The Met has said it hopes to have 22,000 uniformed officers wearing the cameras by this summer.
Scotland Yard says it shows the challenging situation its officers find themselves in, and can be used as part of the fight against crime.
At the time of the roll out, the former Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, said: "This is a huge step forward in bringing London's police force into the 21st century, by reinvesting money from the sale of old and underused buildings.
“Already these confidence boosting cameras have helped reduce complaints and make our officers more accountable.
“But it's clear our trial simply scratched the surface and, once rolled out, these cameras have massive potential to help our officers continue their great work in fighting crime and keeping our city safe."
Upon the launch in Brent, Chief inspector Andy McNaughton of the borough said: "We are delighted to launch Body Worn Video on Brent.
"It is gives us an excellent opportunity to provide greater support to the most vulnerable in the community.
"Video footage will help capture the best evidence, securing quicker convictions, protecting victims and freeing up officers time to be back out on patrol reassuring the community.
"We hope the use of BWV will continue to inspire confidence in the community in the service we provide."
