Members of the emergency services are at a house in Isleworth following concerns for the welfare of a woman.

Police were called to Thornbury Road, in Isleworth, at around 12.20pm following reports of a woman on the roof of a building.

Officers are at the scene along with other members of the emergency services trying to engage in conversation with the individual.

The incident is ongoing.

Scotland Yard has told getwestlondon that the woman safely came down from the roof at 6.40pm. She has been taken by paramedics for a medical assessment.

Negotiator on scene

Police and emergency services remain at the scene with “efforts ongoing” in the negotiation process.

According to the police, a negotiator is at the scene.

London Ambulance Service are in attendance

A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said:

We were called at 12.07pm this afternoon to reports of an incident in Thornbury Road, Isleworth.


We sent an ambulance crew, our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and an incident response officer to the scene.

A spokesman for Metropolitan Police said:

Officers were called to reports of a woman on the roof a building at about 10 past 12.


We are down there along with other emergency services obviously trying to engage in conversation.
