Major delays are being reported on the Jubilee line on Friday (February 24) morning.

There were no service running between Stanmore and Wembley due to reports of a person on the tracks.

There are severe delays to the rest of the line.

Transport for London say London Underground tickets are being accepted on other services including DLR and local bus services.

London Fire Brigade said the delays were caused by a woman “trapped under a train at Queensbury Street in Edgware.

Londoners have endured a difficult commute this week, with a Tube strike disrupting services on Wednesday (February 22) and then Storm Doris wreaking havoc the following day (February 23).

The Jubilee line runs from Stanmore, though Wembley, Neasden, Willesden Green and Kilburn and into Westminster before heading to Stratford.

Injuries 'not life threatening'

British Transport Police say they were called to a woman struck by a train at 7.14am.

She has been taken to hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

'Worst journey'

But that doesn't mean it's all hunky-dory

The incident resulted in no Jubilee service between Stanmore and Wembley between 7.15am and 8.15am

Transport for London statement

Transport for London confirmed services resumed between Stanmore and Wembley at 8.20am.

The incident was reported at 7.15am.

It is being treated as non-suspicious and there are severe delays on the Jubilee line.
