A crowdfunding page set up in memory of murdered Josh Hanson has made £14,000 in less than 24 hours.

Josh, 21, from Kingsbury, was tragically killed in the RE bar, in Field End Road, Eastcote, in the early hours of Sunday (October 11) morning.

After his death, his mother, Tracy Hanson, appealed to the public to help find Josh's killer, and has now set up a Go Fund Me page online.

A Facebook campaign 'Justice for Josh Hanson' was also set up to help find his killer, and tributes from friends and family have been pouring in, with pictures and kind words posted online.

The crowdfunding page asks for a target of £30,000 to be raised to contribute to funeral arrangements and to "help keep his memory alive", with a pending Justice for Josh Hanson charity.

The page reads: "Not only was Josh a hard-working man, usually working seven days a week, he was loving, caring and funny.

"He was an angel with a big heart. Helping and supporting his family and friends was something he did naturally without a seconds thought.

"He had just left the hospital with his girlfriend after visiting her father and was on his way to meet family and friends.

"Please help us to raise as much as we can to help with his funeral arrangements and the ongoing fight against knife crime.

"Josh has left behind a mother and sister who he supported and would be rallying around for anyone else in this tragic situation."

By Friday morning (October 16), a staggering £12,590 had been raised by 282 donations, with friends, family and members of the public leaving messages of condolence.

Meanwhile, police continue to hunt for Shane O'Brien, 27, from Ladbroke Grove, who they want to speak to in connection with Josh's killing. Officers have put forward a £10,000 reward for any information leading to his arrest.
