Piers Morgan, Jonathan Ross and other top TV stars are coming to White City after ITV announced it is moving its daytime production business.

Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be produced from Television Centre studios, as will Strictly Come Dancing’s spin off show, It Takes Two, and The Jonathan Ross Show.

Some 350 staff will also move to White City while redevelopment work is carried out at its South Bank studios, growing the area’s reputation as a hub for the creative industries in west London.

ITV Studios will occupy 27,000 sq ft of modern office space with some 350 staff moving in 2018 into The WestWorks building, part of Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan’s White City Place business district comprising one million sq ft of office space.

It is part of a five-year deal which can be renewed.

Studio space will be subletted from BBC Studioworks in nearby Television Centre, Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan’s mixed-use redevelopment of the former BBC TV headquarters in Wood Lane.

Staff will move into the WestWorks building, part of Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan’s White City Place business district, comprising one million sq ft of office space, in 2018.

David Camp, chief executive of Stanhope Plc, said: “It is fantastic that ITV will be moving into the studios at Television Centre and joining more than 3,000 existing BBC staff at White City Place, alongside Yoox Net-a-Porter, the Royal College of Art, Huckletree and Imperial College’s new White City campus next door in Wood Lane.

"Television Centre already includes the HQ of BBC Worldwide, three state of the art studios operated by BBC Studioworks and a new Soho House members club, rooftop pool, gym, hotel and restaurants.”

WestWorks comprises 300,000 sq ft of modern office space and 35,000 sq ft of new exciting independent café, restaurants and leisure fitness studios and is one of three buildings brought to market by Stanhope in White City Place, formerly the BBC Media Village.
