An investigation is under way to determine the cause of a fire that broke out at a block of flats in Hounslow.

Four fire engines and 21 firefighters were called to the blaze, in Prince Regent Road, shortly before 6.30pm on Tuesday (March 3). They spent 40 minutes tackling the flames.

Part of a room on the third-floor, three-bedroom flat was damaged, but there were no reports of any injuries.

Crews from Feltham and Heston fire stations attended.

The London Fire Brigade has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
