Two motorcyclists were taken to hospital after a collision in Chelsea on Thursday (June 7).

It happened just after 5pm at the King’s Road near the junction with Bramerton Street.

The motorists were taken to hospital by ambulance with injuries which the police described as non-life threatening and non-life changing.

Police sealed off the road near the junction with Old Street while London Ambulance Service attended the injured people and other emergency services made the area safe.

The incident happened hours before police and firefighters attended a fire at a petrol station in Shepherd’s Bush Green.

A moped caught fire while next to a fuel pump at the BP Connect station shortly before 8pm.

The brigade said five people had left the petrol station before crews arrived, and the blaze had gutted the moped and partially damaged the pump and roof.
