Police officers in Hillingdon are asking for help to return jewellery believed to have been stolen during a burglary between February and March 2016.

The items were recovered in March last year after a vehicle was stopped in Hayes, and officers believe they were stolen during a burglary or burglaries in the Harrow or Hillingdon areas.

Jewellery recovered includes a number of pairs of cuff links, tie clips and a bracelet.

Hillingdon Police shared pictures of the recovered items online on Wednesday (February 8) and are calling for anyone who recognises the items to contact them.

The jewellery was concealed in the stopped vehicle and for this reason police believed the items had been stolen and the offence or offences are thought to have taken place between February 19 and March 5 last year.

A previous appeal to find the owners proved unsuccessful so Metropolitan Police officers have relaunched the plea.

Anyone who recognises any of these items is asked to call DS Charlie Cairns 02082461417 or email charlie.cairns@met.pnn.police.uk.
