A young girl was sexually assaulted while sitting on a bus in Brent , police say.

Officers are linking the incident, which happened in May, to another sexual assault on a bus in Ilford which happened in the same month.

Officers have now released an image of a man who was seen on both buses at the time, and say it is possible there are other victims who are yet to come forward.

The first alleged victim was a 13-year-old girl, who was travelling on the 232 bus.

She had boarded the vehicle at North Circular Road just before 9am on May 5 and sat down in front of a man, who sexually touched her, police said.

The girl moved to a different part of the bus and the suspect got off in Coles Green Road, also in Brent.

The next incident happened shortly after 4pm on May 22, when a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted while standing on a crowded 462 bus in Elmbridge Road, Ilford.
