Hurricane Irma is wreaking havoc over in the Caribbean, and with a state of emergency declared in Florida travel misery is expected over the coming days.
While flights are currently operating from Heathrow and Gatwick airports, they remain under review as the storm is set to batter parts of Florida this weekend.
Some of the biggest airlines operating flights to the US and the Caribbean from London include British Airways (BA), Virgin Atlantic, United Airlines and American Airlines.
A video message from BA's network operations centre has revealed its weather team will be monitoring the changes to see how flights might be impacted over the weekend.
An expert at the airline says Irma has the "potential to hit Florida over the weekend" and will be "monitoring what's happening in Orlando, Tampa, Miami and Fort Lauderdale to see how our flights might be impacted."

The airline has already sent a special flight out to Antigua on Tuesday (September 5) to get passengers home to safety. The airport, which was closed on Wednesday (September 6), has reopened.
Meanwhile tropical storm Jose could turn into a hurricane, which BA's operations team are also keeping a close eye on.
The airline is advising customers due to fly in the coming days to re-book their flights.
A spokesperson for BA said: "The safety of our customers and colleagues is always our priority.
"We laid on a special flight from Antigua on Tuesday to get as many customers home as possible before the hurricane arrived on the island, and have managed to rebook many others across the Caribbean islands onto flights out of the area with alternative carriers.
"We are closely monitoring developments in the region and are in regular contact with holidaymakers there to ensure they are safe and being well looked after by their hotel management.
"We have offered all customers due to travel between the UK, the Caribbean and Florida in the coming days a range of re-booking options and are keeping our flights to the entire region under review."

Meanwhile Virgin Atlantic says it expects its Orlando and Miami operations to be impacted from Saturday (September 9).
A statement on its website read: "We strongly advise customers currently in Florida to rebook to travel back to the UK on September 7 or 8."

US airlines - United Airlines and American Airlines - are both advising customers booked on flights to destinations affected by Irma to rebook.
