A distraught dog owner’s search for her much-loved French bulldog who disappeared two months ago continues.

Jade Husted from Hounslow along with a group of friends and volunteers searched the area around the River Thames, on Saturday (March 12), where missing Teddy was last seen.

The search spanned from Chertsey Meads to Lower Sunbury following advice from the Environment Agency.

She fears the 10-month-old puppy was stolen when he was taken out by his dog walker, after he appeared to ‘vanish’ from sight with reports of a mystery car spotted in the car park on Wednesday (January 27).

Miss Husted who is offering a £2,000 reward to find Teddy, said: “We had someone in a kayak in the river and we spread all the way down. It was to eliminate the possibility of his having fallen in the river.

“We also leafleted the houses in the area. I just want to know what has happened and it’s hard because we have no clue.

“People all over the country have been helping to look for him but we haven’t heard anything yet.”

Despite launching a campaign to find the missing dog, who is microchipped and neutered, Miss Husted has not heard of any sightings of Teddy.

A Facebook group - Find Teddy - has also been set up and has around 2,000 followers.

Miss Husted has been working with Animal Search UK who have been trying to track down the pup.
