Rugby fans living near Twickenham Stadium can beat the scrum for tickets to the autumn internationals.

The RFU (Rugby Football Union) has set aside 200 pairs of tickets for residents to watch England 's clashes at the venue this November and December.

People with postcodes beginning TW1, TW2, TW3 or TW77 are eligible to apply for a pair of tickets through the residents' ballot.

They must ensure they are registered for the ballot by 5pm on Sunday August 21.

Once registered, they can apply for tickets between 10am on Tuesday, August 30 and 5pm on Wednesday, September 7.

England will look to maintain their winning streak when they take on South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and Australia at Twickenham in the Old Mutual Wealth Series between November 12 and December 3.

The RFU's member clubs take priority for capacity games at the stadium, and the residents' ballot is the only other way to get your hands on a coveted ticket.

Local residents can also get a £5 discount on tickets for Argentina v Australia at Twickenham on Saturday, October 8.
