This lucky schoolboy from Hounslow celebrated in style after winning the chance to lead England out at Euro 2016 .

Oliver Boas will accompany the England team onto the pitch ahead of their clash with Wales on Thursday, June 16.

The eight-year-old, who attends Southfield Primary School, in Bedford Park, Chiswick , was one of nine young football fans chosen to become McDonald's Player Escorts at the tournament.

His delighted reaction showed England players the way when it comes to celebrating - now they just need to work on giving themselves and fans something to celebrate.

McDonald's director of football, the 1966 World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst, said: "Oliver will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of something truly special, accompanying future legends of English football as they step out into some of the iconic grounds in European football."
