A 34-year-old man has been arrested by police after a young man was stabbed multiple times in Hounslow.

The victim, aged 21, has now been released from hospital following the stabbing in Central Avenue on Thursday (October 5).

Police had been called to the scene at around 5.52pm and an air ambulance rushed the victim to a west London hospital, where he was treated for stab wounds to the shoulder and neck.

The 34-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning (October 6) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody at a west London police station.

No other arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing.

Police are continuing to make enquiries and anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Hounslow CID on 101.
