A MAN appeared in court today (Friday) accused of taking part in an attempted multi-million pound cyber bank raid.

Akash Vaghela, of Beavers Lane, Hounslow, is one of four men alleged to have used a key-board video mouse to take control of a computer at a branch of Santander in an attempt to steal millions of pounds.

They were allegedly operating out of a small shed in Kingsley Avenue, Hounslow.Mr Vaghela, 27, appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Friday alongside the other men, who are all charged with conspiracy to steal.

He was bailed to return to the court to enter his plea on December 13.The three other men accused were all remanded in custody to appear alongside Mr Vaghela.

They are: Asad Ali Qureshi, 35, of South Kensington; Lanre Mullins-Abudu, 25, of Putney; and Dean Outram, 34, of Kensal Rise.They were all arrested on September 12, along with eight other men who were bailed by police pending further enquiries.
