A Chiswick home start-up business has scooped not one, not two, but three trophies at the Hounslow Business Awards.

Entrepreneur Martha Keith is the founder of Love Give Ink , a handmade personalised gifts and stationary company, which began life from her spare bedroom in Chiswick three years ago growing into an eight person team, recently moving into a site in Brentford .

She triumphed at the glittering awards ceremony for local businesses winning entrepreneur of the year, best new business and the prestigious business of the year award, at the event held Hilton London Syon Park Hotel on Thursday October 13.

The businesswoman inspired by gifts that she and her other half have given each other, said: “We are absolutely over the moon to have been recognised by the Hounslow Business Awards in this way.

"We are so proud to be a local company employing local people and I hope this allows more of Hounslow to hear about us and what we do."

“We are currently preparing for Christmas, which includes launching some exciting new product ranges and expanding our team here at Love Give Ink HQ."

Last year Ms Keith was recognised by Notonthehighstreet.com winning the start-up success of the year award.

Other winners included staff at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel for best customer service, where general manager, Stephen Clayton, received the award.

An opticians based in Chiswick and Fulham, The Eye Studio, were also among the accolade winners scooping the independent retailer of the year award.

Owners Andrew Harman and Nick Singfield are delighted to have won the accolade for their work as an independent practice.

Mr Harman said: “Winning this award is so exciting for us.

"It’s incredibly gratifying to know that our efforts to provide our community with quality optical care have been recognised.”

The event, organised by Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, is supported by Hounslow council and sponsored by Hounslow Highways.

Stephen Fry, chief executive of the Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, said: “What a fantastic evening.

"Every part of the borough was celebrated as the home of innovators.

"Tonight demonstrated that Hounslow is brimming with talent. It was a privilege to share in their success.”
