Hounslow armed police incident: Man remains in hospital three days after being gunned down in housing estate

Police enquiries continue after the shooting on Monday (August 28) night

A young man remains in hospital three days after he was gunned down on a housing estate in Hounslow.

The victim who is in his 20s is in a serious but stable condition at a west London hospital following the shooting on Monday (August 28) night.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed his condition on Thursday (August 31) morning.

Armed police were called to the Hounslow Heath Estate at around 11.35pm after reports of gunshots fired.

They found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

No arrests have been made as yet as police enquiries into the shooting incident continue.

Trident, a special gang crime unit, is assisting Hounslow Police with its investigation.
