A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 42-year-old was stabbed in Uxbridge.

Police were called to reports of a woman who had been injured at an address in Collingwood Road, on Friday (January 30) at 11am.

London Ambulance Service also attended but the woman, who was found with stab injuries, later died. Next of kin have been informed.

The woman, who is yet to be formally identified, has been named by police as Emily Munemo, of Collingwood Road, Uxbridge.

A post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in Hayes on Saturday on suspicion of murder and has been bailed pending further enquiries to a date in mid-March.

The Metropolitan Police Homicide and Major Crime Command continues to investigate.
