Police have been called to Hillingdon Hospital after a person was reportedly threatening staff.

The Metropolitan Police was called to the scene in Pield Heath Road at 10.23am on Thursday (April 13) after a person is believed to have made threats to employees.

A spokesman for the Met Police said: "We were called at 10.23am to Hillingdon Hospital after someone was making threats to staff."

A spokesman for the Met said: “It actually looks like a patient called police and said staff were threatening him.

“Officers looked into it and it turned out that wasn’t the case.”

Witness says she is worried about her safety

A witness on the ward, who asked not to be named, said she is concerned for her safety as a person has been making threats to staff.

She said: “Crashing, banging, throwing stuff and everyone (staff) running and staff getting out of the way.

“I am concerned for my safety, you don’t feel safe getting out of the way.

“You don’t know what she is going to do next”
