The popular week-long festival celebrating the best of the arts in Hammersmith and Fulham is returning for a third year.

HF ArtsFest will run from June 6-12 and will this year include a Picnic in the Park to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

The programme will include things for ages and tastes, with 400 participants from the various arts disciplines represented.

It will feature comedy, music, literature, performing arts, films, circus and the visual arts. There will be street performances to bring the arts directly to the community, sessions to encourage participation and exceptional venues hosting amazing acts, and the majority of events are free of charge.

In partnership with Westfield London W12, the event will include a Cacophony of Sound & Music on June 11 and 12. It will celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday with a mix of young musicians, street dance, circus and Indian dance.

A spokesperson said: “We invite everyone, whether they live in the borough or not, to come and join us for this week-long celebration of the cultural diversity that exists in every corner of this great city.”
