A trial date has been set after a three people appeared in court, following an an anti-third runway protest at Heathrow Airport.
Geneieve Scherer, Simon Bramwell and Daniel Keeler were faced with charges of obstructing a tunnel/tunnel access road at Heathrow Airport on February 21 2017.
On March 8, 45-year-old, Bramwell, from The Old Common in Chalford, Stroud, and 32-year-old, Keeler from Mutchett’s Yard in Watford pleaded not guilty.
71-year-old Scherer from Leppoc Road in Lambeth, pleaded guilty and was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
A trial date has been set for May 16 at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court for Bramwell and Keeler.
It comes after a car blocked the tunnel at Heathrow Airport, leading to Terminals 2 and 3, which created major traffic jams around the airport.
