Detectives have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a stabbing in Hayes left a man hospitalised for ten days.

The victim, a 32-year-old man, was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after the "violent attack" at a row of shops in Yeading Lane.

Police and paramedics attended the street after reports of a man suffering from stab wounds at 8.48pm on Wednesday October 25.

It is believed that suspects arrived at the scene in vehicles and carried out the attack, before making off from the scene, Metropolitan Police said.

London Ambulance Service took the victim to a central London hospital, where he spent ten days, before being discharged.

Detectives in Hillingdon borough investigating a stabbing are appealing for witnesses and information.

Investigating officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack, or who was in the Yeading Lane area at the time or has information that could assist the investigation.

DC Emma Brookes of Hillingdon CID said: "This was a violent attack which left the victim with serious injuries which fortunately did not prove fatal.

"We are still investigating the circumstances, and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen something that could be of significance to our investigation.

"Any information provided would be treated in the strictest confidence."

The incident was the fourth stabbing in as many months in the area - causing great concern among residents .

Hillingdon Police previously said it is "vigorously pursuing" investigations into these crimes and has been focusing on tackling knife crime in the borough.
