Kingshill Avenue in Hayes was closed following a morning rush hour collision between two cars on Wednesday (October 18).

Police were called to the scene, near the junction with Grosvenor Avenue and Raynton Drive, at just after 9am where two small cars had collided.

A photograph from the scene shows the cars far apart on opposite sides of the road.

A spokesman for Metropolitan Police confirmed that nobody was hurt in the collision, but that both cars were damaged.

Kingshill Avenue was closed for several hours as the vehicles were cleared and police responded to the scene, causing long tailbacks on both sides of the crash, near Hayes Rugby Football Club.

getwestlondon's traffic portal reported that the 90 bus route from Northolt to Feltham was also affected by the collision.

The road reopened shortly after 12pm and traffic later returned to normal.
