At least 181 illegal immigrants have been deported from west London since 2013, it has emerged.

At least 25 people have been deported from the UB3 area, which covers south Hayes and Harlington after police were tipped-off in the neighbourhood.

It is the eighth highest area for deportations, according the the figures from the Home Office.

Another 24 people were arrested near Southall , a further 22 from Wembley and at least 10 people from Southall, Paddington and Harrow.

However, the findings only cover removals following arrests where information was passed on by the public, and only includes areas with more than five deportations, which means the real total for west London is likely to be higher.

A Home Office spokesperson said: "Those with no right to be in the UK should return home.

"We expect people to leave the country voluntarily but, where they do not, we will seek to enforce their departure.”
