A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car in Hayes on Saturday (April 1).

Metropolitan Police officers were called to Uxbridge Road, near Yeading Lane, at around 12.50pm following reports of a serious road traffic collision.

Officers attended along with other emergency services and found a 38-year-old motorcyclist injured.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.12pm.

Next of kin have been informed and formal identification awaits.

The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.

Transport for London (TfL) said Uxbridge Road remains closed just west of Ossie Garvin Roundabout following the collision.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating and are appealing for anyone who witnesses the crash.
